LOOKING FOR TOURS OF JAIPUR? YOU’VE COME TO RIGHT PLACE.
PLEASE KEEP READING , there is a lot to read, before you decide if this site will be of help to you or not.
Firstly, this is no ordinary website. Its not being set up by the person who will provide the tours, currently as I make the site, he knows nothing about it.
Its a long story and more details can be read in the about us page. But here is the short version in a nut shell.
I went to Jaipur in Sept 2011, we met a man who introduced himself as “Rain” his real name is Ranjeet (but everyone calls him Rain).
When I was there we took his Rickshaw all over Jaipur for two whole days. You couldn’t ask for a better tour guide/driver. So when I returned to the UK I set up this website for him and posted on trip advisor. If you are going to India you will see how some people live and survive on very little, Rain works to provide his family with food, clothing a shelter. If I can help him get more business and help him provide for his family through this site then I will have achieved my goal.
As well as hopefully making some tourists trip to Jaipur more enjoyable.
I can honestly say I wouldn’t have had half as good a holiday if it was not for “Rickshaw Rain”
At first I thought, a rickshaw… Seriously…
…maybe we can get a nice air conditioned car??
But let me tell a rickshaw is the only way to “experience” India! The wind blowing from the open sides of the rickshaw kept us cool, the only issue i would have is that once when it was really dusty we did get some sand in our faces, but a cloth to wipe your face soon takes care of that. It really is the BEST way to see the city, you miss so much by car. We initially had hired a car, driver and guide, but soon ditched them for Rain, to find out why – I urge you to read the FAQ and Travel advice – be warned and dont get ripped off!!
